WELCOME TO THE
SCHOOL CRISIS RECOVERY & RENEWAL (SCRR) PROJECT!
A Category II National Child Traumatic Stress Network Site
School crisis readiness is essential. Response is critical.
And: what happens after matters, too.
As of June 1, 2025, SCRR is no longer funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration or a National Child Traumatic Stress Network Category II site.
Our website will remain up and open with archived content to resource anyone interested in crisis aftermath leadership, expanding the crisis continuum of care, and educator/leader grief work.
Browse our pages to find resources produced and curated by the SCRR: blogs, guides, asynchronous learning modules, and more.
Our 2025 SCRR Legacy Report is a wonderful capture of our time together, our impact, and our imparting wishes for the work ahead.
A final SCRR thank you video
Some of our team spent time creating a goodbye video for you (we recommend you turn on the closed captioning for full impact). Produced by Bri Young and Steven Jimenez featuring Leora, Oriana, Niki, Bri, Zeruiah + SCRR former field director Jen Leland & senior advisor David Schonfeld, we hope you feel our gratitude and meaning making permeate the screen from our homes to yours.
We’re still here to support you! Please contact: SCRR@cars-rp.org
